Terms of Service

Damon Salvatore AI terms: what you may upload, how credits, plans and refunds work, and how you may share the Damon Salvatore edits you make with us.

The short version

Damon Salvatore AI (damonsalvatoreai.com, "we", "us") is a web tool that recasts a Damon Salvatore fan edit with the person in your photo as the lead. You upload one photo, we generate a short video, and you download it. These Terms explain what you may upload, how credits and payments work and what you can do with the result. By creating an account or using the generator you accept them.

Not an official product

Damon Salvatore AI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The CW, Warner Bros., Alloy Entertainment, the cast or anyone else involved in The Vampire Diaries. Character names are used only to describe the trend the tool recreates. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service.
  • You sign in with your Google account; your account is created the first time you sign in. Keep your Google login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it removes your photos and videos as described in our Privacy Policy.

What you may upload

You may only upload a photo if:

  • it shows you, or a person who has agreed to appear in the video, and you have the right to use it;
  • it does not show a minor;
  • it is not a photo of a celebrity, public figure or fictional character used without permission;
  • it is not sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful.

You must not use the service to impersonate, harass, defame or deceive anyone, to create content that suggests a real person said or did something they did not, or to make videos intended to mislead viewers into believing they are real footage of an event.

We may refuse, remove or stop generating any content that we reasonably believe breaks these rules, and we may suspend accounts that do so. The video models we use also run their own safety checks and can reject a photo or a result.

Credits and payments

  • Each video costs a fixed number of credits, shown on the generator and on the Pricing page before you start.
  • Credits come from monthly or yearly plans or from one-time video packs. Plan credits are added every month and expire at the end of that month; pack credits do not expire.
  • There is no free tier. Prices are shown in US dollars; Stripe may show you a converted amount in your local currency at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
  • Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel, and are charged to the payment method on file.
  • Each plan adds its credits every month, including on yearly billing (one month's credits at a time). Unused plan credits expire at the end of that month and do not roll over.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and its monthly credits continue until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged the prorated difference; downgrades and switches to monthly billing take effect at the next renewal.

Failed videos and refunds

If a video fails to generate, for whatever reason, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically. If a payment is refunded, the unused credits it granted are removed from your balance; for a refunded plan period, no further monthly credits are added for that period. Because credits are spent on paid compute the moment a video starts, credits used on videos that were delivered are not refundable. If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong with a payment, write to us within 14 days and we will look at it. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

The videos you make

  • You may download, keep and share the videos you generate, for personal and non-commercial use.
  • The reference edits, their soundtracks and the characters they show belong to their respective rights holders. Platforms may limit or mute videos that contain commercial music; that is outside our control.
  • You are responsible for where and how you share a video, and for having the consent of anyone who appears in it.
  • AI output can be imperfect: faces, hands or clothing may not match your photo exactly. Results vary from photo to photo and we cannot guarantee a particular likeness.

Our service

We work to keep the generator available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change models, providers, edits, prices or features. Changes to prices never affect credits you already hold.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for paying customers, we will tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
